Well, Mark and I "officially" live in Massachusetts now. Last week Mark and I began the moving process. When we scheduled the movers, the company told us that they would need two days to pack up our two bedroom apartment. This surprised Mark and I a little, but we agreed to it. Three men came and they moved very quick! They were done by 2 o'clock on Wednesday and only had a couple things left to pack that we needed for the next day. They were back early the next morning and were done by 10 am. Mark and I ran a couple of last minute errands and then ate lunch from Nico's (we are going to miss good Mexican food so much!) We were finally ready to hit the road, but just needed to do our apartment walk through. We went to the office and no one was there...we eventually waited two hours for them to come back from "lunch." Everything went well with the walk through and then we headed to Phoenix. The drive was extremely windy!

We drove to the Williams and spent a fun night with Mark's whole family. We even had a tornado warning... luckily the Williams have a basement. After dinner we headed over to my parents house to sleep.
The next morning we got up and went to lunch at Chinos with my mom, dad, sister and Mr. and Mrs. Shipman. I am going to miss eating there too! Hopefully Mark and I will find food just as good here in Boston.
After lunch we headed to the airport. My parents and Gregg and Marina went with us. It was really hard to say goodbye! :( However, I did a lot better than I expected. I only really cried when we said goodbye, I expected to be bawling on the plane. Brodie did well with the plane ride. He whined a little when everyone got on the plane, but calmed down after the plane took off. We also sat next to someone who had a cat under their seat. I was worried about how he would react, but I don't think he even realized that she was there.

Life in Boston has not been as bad as I anticipated...I know BIG surprise! It has not been as cold as I expected. Although I have heard that it is going to be extremely cold this weekend, so my opinion of the weather may change after this weekend! I just looked outside and it is snowing again, the ground is completely covered. Almost all the snow had melted on Monday, but now its back... One of Mark's co-workers, John, arrived on Saturday night and is staying at the same hotel as us. We have gone out to dinner with him a couple of times, which has helped us to not feel so lonely here. I have had a couple of interviews with some families for nanny positions and am waiting to hear back if I got the job. So, overall I don't hate it here...I am not loving it here, but I am content.
Oh and Brodie is adjusting very well to the cold. He didn't know what to think about the snow at first, but after one night he adjusted. On Monday when the snow started to melt, he would search all over for a little patch of snow so he could go to the bathroom on it! We took him out tonight and he LOVES the fresh snow. He runs around in it, kicking up the snow and chasing it around and loves chasing the big snowflakes.
